What is Held in the Telling?

A virtual supportive space for Black women to reflect, heal, and grow through guided writing and community connection.

This is a held, intentional space where you can:

  • Write your truth

  • Explore your story safely

  • Connect with other Black women

  • Grow through reflection and expression

  • Talk about life, love, grief, stress, self-care, boundaries, etc

Please Note: You do NOT have to receive therapy services through Carr Cares to join this group.

What to Expect:

Through guided writing prompts, participants will be encouraged to explore your thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences in a meaningful way. Participants will have opportunities for reflection and self-discovery within a supportive community that understands.

  • Priority Partners

  • Wellpoint

  • Maryland Physicians Care

  • Self Pay Available: $30 per group

Aisha Jean-Baptiste, LCSW-C (CBT-certified):

Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15+ years of experience providing community-based mental health services through artistic expression and storytelling.
